Stevie Raine was born on June 12, 1979, in Bishop Auckland, a mining town in the North East of England. Sport was a massive part of his life growing up, taking up Taekwondo early on, then trying his hand at anything that was offered to him, Rugby and Cross Country being his preferred disciplines at school. In his late teens he found Muay Thai boxing, even venturing out to Thailand to live, train and fight. Seasonally he worked as a Water Sports Instructor in the UK, France and Spain, and also worked as a PT and coached Crossfit in London. Although his first degree was in Sport and Nutrition at Leeds University. He later went on to study Acting at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
