Born in Balham, London, Alan caught the acting bug whilst in Boarding School, but didn't resume his passion until 1991, when he was scouted and cast for a series of television commercials. Quickly employing the services of a productive agent in the UK, Spain and the US, Alan has been productively active throughout his career, whilst also studying at the London Academy of Film and Television, The Actor's Temple, The Actor's Workshop, the New York Film Academy, and studied for his Degree in Theatre Studies with Rose Bruford.
