Clay von Carlowitz is an actor and filmmaker based in NYC. Since writing, directing and acting in his first feature, 'The House in the Woods,' he's garnered acclaim for his roles in 'Return to Nuke 'Em High' and 'My Bloody Banjo,' and the Michael Walker thriller 'Cut Shoot Kill.' Between features, he's acted in web series such as 'Under InspeKtion' and has written for/acted in 'Mummy Cop' and 'Pollution Nerdz.' Having studied drama at Kenyon College, Clay occasionally appears in plays, including his co-production of 'Danny and the Deep Blue Sea' with wife/frequent collaborator Asta Paredes, satirical comedy 'Ophelia' with Gotham Dance Theater, and his self-penned monologue 'Feverish Dreams: An Evening With H.P. Lovecraft' via The Tank NYC.
