In 2010, Fernando turned his focus to his acting career, appearing as Fenroy in Gavin O'Connor's WARRIOR alongside Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton, and Nick Nolte (who received an Academy Award nomination). The film has attained cult status and is currently #135 on IMDB's Top 250 films of all time. Fernando guest-starred as fan-favorite Wade Wei in the wildly popular and critically acclaimed web series THE GUILD opposite Felicia Day. THE GUILD received Best Series awards from Yahoo and YouTube and is one of the most viewed web shows in history. As the tech-savvy Lt. Wilkes, Fernando shined alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in Justin Lin's massive worldwide hit FAST FIVE, which opened to $86 million domestically on the way to well over $600 million in international box office. Reteaming with WARRIOR director Gavin O'Connor and writer Anthony Tambakis, Fernando played iconoclastic lawyer "Tokyo Dan" Manning in the A & E pilot CINNAMON GIRL.
