Born into a London Irish home, Matthew has always been very proud of his North London / West Ireland heritage. Unfortunately for him, he was dragged kicking and screaming to Norwich at the tender age of fifteen and immediately hated it. But after a decade and a half he's come to finally appreciate his dwellings. To describe his attitude as a director, we have combined seven key attributes into one all-encompassing description: uncompromising, grumpy, opinionated, stubborn, self deprecating, insecure visionary. Outside of Cheesemint, Matthew has been reviewing films officially since 2004.
