Michelle Alexander is a Canadian actor and writer best known for the role of Alison on Darknet. *rated one of the top six horror shows of all time by Movie Pilot and one of the scariest shows to watch on Neflix by Uproxx. Classically trained in Canada, Michelle began her acting career on stage, playing lead roles in everything from Shakespeare to Noel Coward. Her career quickly transitioned into film and television with credits such as the recurring role of Laura on Designated Survivor (ABC), Debra Kaplan on Suits (USA Network) and Jill on Orphan Black (Space, BBC America). Her comedy-horror series Fatal Murder Mystery, which she co-wrote and stars in, was a finalist in the international Beyond the Box Competition at the Just for Laughs Festival. In 2016, she won Smokebomb Entertainment's AMP Accelerator Competition at the Banff World Media Festival with her writing partner Sophia Fabiilli. She is originally from British Columbia, Canada and a graduate of the University of Windsor's BFA - Acting Conservatory program.
