Brodie is known for playing Sophie in Sophie's Turn (2017), and Laura Adams in French-Australian film The Bracelet (2017). In 2017, Brodie was one of five invited to attend the Advanced Actors Residency at The National Institute of Dramatic Art, whose course alumni includes Katherine Langford. She has previously been awarded a half-scholarship to study at The Warehouse Workshop, headed by Emmy nominated casting director, Tom McSweeney CSA. Brodie was born in Auchenflower, Australia to parents Greg, a former South Australian swimmer, and Sandra Cornish, a nurse. She is the second youngest of five children. Growing up, Brodie split her time road-tripping between rural South Australia and Queensland, camping, and building cars with her dad. Before turning to acting, Brodie was a dancer, winning multiple state and national competitions & performing at high profile events such as Australia's State of Origin.
