Stephanie May Kutty is an Australian Actress. Stephanie however, was born in Suva, Fiji Islands on November 25th. Her mother is a Burmese Doctor and her Father, a retired Chef is of Fijian, Indian, Irish and Chinese descent. Stephanie grew up in Fiji often performing with the local children in their dance performance until the age of 10 years old when a Coup (2000) sent her family to move to Australia to be with her late Grandmother and rest of the family. Throughout Primary school and High School years in Australia, Stephanie was involved with Speech Choirs, Folk Choirs and Musicals in between her Academics. Stephanie began to really focus on her acting career in the last year of studying her Biomedical Science Bachelor's Degree at University of Sunshine Coast at the age of 20. After receiving a Talent-Based (Partial) Scholarship to New York Film Academy, Los Angeles Campus on her first ever audition; she decided to finish her degree and take the scholarship the year later. Stephanie enrolled in the 8 week Intensive in Acting for Film program in 2011. Later, she returned to Australia and not sure of how to go about becoming an actor, Stephanie went back into studying science. Not too long after, however, she found her way back to acting and continued on to complete a 2 year Advanced Diploma in Screen & Media (Acting for Film) at the New York Film Academy (Gold Coast). This lead to acting in multiple Indie films and on Major Motion Pictures produced on the Gold Coast such as San Andreas (2015), Jungle (2017) and Thor: Ragnarok (2017).
