Blake DeLong is an actor and producer, known for Lynne Ramsay's We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011), Matt Muir's Thank You a Lot (2014), and Spike Lee's Pass Over (2018). A sixth generation Texan, he was an award-winning actor in the fabled theatre department at Lake Highlands High School in Dallas before studying history and playing in rock bands while attending The University of Texas at Austin. After college, DeLong began appearing in new and experimental plays in Austin's vibrant theater scene in the early 2000's. He was subsequently recruited to return to the university as an MFA student in acting, and moved to New York City in 2008. DeLong was nominated for a 2014 Lucille Lortel Award for his dual-role as Andrey Bolkonsky and Old Prince Bolkonsky, which he originated in the hit musical Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. Other notable stage work includes Sam Gold's critically acclaimed production of Othello (starring Daniel Craig, David Oyelowo, and Rachel Brosnahan) and Richard Nelson's Illyria at the Public Theater. His work on television includes "FBI", "The Blacklist", "The Following", "Vinyl", and "The Good Fight". He has produced and acted in numerous short films, including 2017 festival phenomenon Shy Guys (opposite 2016 Tony Winner Reed Birney). Upcoming feature film and limited series projects include Ava Duvernay's When They See Us (2019) for Netflix, Mindy Kaling and Nisha Ganatra's Late Night (2019) for Amazon, and indie Sister Aimee (2019) by Samantha Buck and Marie Schlingmann (Late Night and Sister Aimee both premiered at Sundance 2019).
