His New York roots speak to his strengths of exploring corky yet familiar characters in larger than life worlds. His work is as random as it is deliberate, funny as it is tragic, and familiar as it is original. Christian is a recent graduate of the distinguished American Film Institute's directing program and recipient of the Jacob Burns emerging artist Fellowship. Before receiving his MFA from AFI, he began his career in the entertainment industry by working in Key crew positions on, American Hustle, Silver Linings Playbook, NOAH, Captain Phillips, Boardwalk Empire and many other Award-winning shows.
