Alan Trong was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Today he is a Los Angeles based actor with credits spanning in film, television, and voiceover. He initiated his craft during his freshman year of college in the musical, "Little Shop of Horrors". In 2016, Alan continued to expand himself through film and television by moving to Austin, Texas where he signed with Collier Talent Agency. He simultaneously received his minor in Theatre at Texas State University San Marcos. Starting in 2016, he studied the Meisner technique for two years under former Sandford Meisner alumni and Los Angeles casting director, Laurel Vouvray at the In The Moment Acting Studio. 2017 brought his first major studio role as "Kumaza" in Alita: Battle Angel (James Cameron), across Mahershala Ali. Alan wrote, produced, composed the score, and acted in his own cathartic short film, "120" where it was officially selected and premiered at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival: Short Film Corner. His first ever romantic leading role in "I Am Mackenzie" was an official selection at the SXSW Film Festival 2019. Alan's most recent television work may be seen as a recurring role in Netflix's "Daybreak" (2019) across Matthew Broderick. "Daybreak" was Alan's first ever comedy as he claims it was such a memorable experience taking direction behind Brad Peyton (Rampage, Frontier) and creator, Aron Eli Coleite (Star Trek: Discovery). You may also hear his voiceover narration at Sony Pictures in PlayStation's Gran Turismo 7 release. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Alan Nguyen
