Arvin Combs

Arvin Combs is a native Texan, born and raised in Dallas, Tx., where he lives today with his wife Sabrina. Although he grew up with a deep interest in film and live theatre performance, he also developed an early childhood love of football. Texas High School football was largely a year round activity leaving no time to explore acting. He went on to attend West Point for two years before opting for a civilian path and transferring to the University of North Texas where completed his BS in accounting. He later completed his CPA and move into an accounting career with "The Big 8". Still, the interest in acting never waned and on a challenge from his daughter Rebecca, he auditioned and was cast in a major role for a stage production of Witness for The Prosecution. The theatre bug had bitten. In a short period of time he experienced encouraging success in Dallas theatre with performances in productions including Moon Over Buffalo; Crimes of the Heart, The Diary of Anne Frank; a DFW Column Award nomination for "Best Actor In a Play" for Murder On the Nile and a regional premier of The Grapes of Wrath at Watertower Theatre (Equity).
