Matteo, born in Italy but with Colombian descents, started studying theater at the age of 11 into the C.T.A (Centro Teatro Attivo) in Milan, learning from his firs acting teacher Stefania Martinelli. With her direction, he did several pieces of classic theater (Shakespeare, Checov, Moliere, Max Aub, Goldoni etc.). At the age of 19, after he finished his studies, he moved to Rome to study in the CSC (Centro Sperimentale Di Cinematografia), where he discover his love for cinema.
