Phillip K. Galaras was born in Urbana, Illinois. He and his two older sisters were raised in a small town called Savoy. Phillip attended school in the nearby town of Champaign where he participated in soccer, football, baseball, and wrestling. He did not have any contact with the drama club until he auditioned and landed a role in his high school production of "Hello Dolly." He fell in love with acting, but he was determined to play college football. His athleticism was good enough to get him a scholarship to a division three football program. Sadly, he suffered a career ending injury just three games into the first season. Lost and confused about what he wanted for his future, Phillip bounced from job to job and college to college. Phillip's awakening came when he began taking acting classes at the Parkland community college. His love for acting was reawakened. Following his class he began landing roles in local short films while making trips to Chicago to perform at the Chicago Art Institute. In 2015, Phillip made the jump to L.A. where he began getting bit parts in film, T.V. and on the internet.
