Ricardo Lorenzo is a filmmaker hailing from Weehawken, NJ. He grew up watching films with his father, who was an avid moviegoer. He was influenced by an assortment of experiment and narrative films. At 13, Ricardo was given his first camcorder to document the mundane life of his preteen friends. Throughout his high school and undergrad days, he wrote, directed, and edited short experimental films, which were broadcasted on small local and college networks.
