Jason S. Berlin was born and raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland, a suburb of the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. He graduated from Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland in 1999, and from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland in 2004, with a bachelor's degree in Electronic Media and Film, concentrating in Television Production. Being a passionate and well-educated percussionist and impressionist since the age of 10, Jason originally moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in studio drumming and voice-over work, but landed on his feet in the Reality Television world.
