Chantal Elyse was born on February 13, 1996 in Baulkham Hills, New South Wales, Australia. She comes from a family of three children, having two older sisters also involved in the Performing Arts. Chantal grew up singing around the Gold Coast, Queensland with her two older sisters Alexandra and Bronté. Chantal went on to receive the full music scholarship to Somerset College, a prestigious Gold Coast private school. Throughout her schooling years, Chantal involved herself in many choirs, bands, drama plays and musicals, where she would often play the lead roles. During her senior school years, Chantal completed her ATCL Diploma in Speech & Drama with the Trinity College London. After graduating high school with Honours in Music, Drama and the Performing Arts, Chantal went on to study acting full time at the New York Film Academy Australia Gold Coast Campus, then located at Village Roadshow studios. Chantal then went on to participate in Tom McSweeney's 20-Week Intense Acting Internship at the Warehouse Workshop on the Gold Coast. Chantal regularly attends 8-week Acting courses held at the Warehouse Workshop Acting Studio. In 2014 Chantal was awarded 'Best Actress in a Lead Role' at the USA IndieFest International Film Festival. Then in 2015, Chantal received the 'Best Actress' award at the Australian Screen Industry Network Awards (ASINS) for her portrayal of Rita in the short film 'Betty Boo.'
