Roy Barker's desire to pursue his dream to become an actor, saw himself as a mature student immersed in the study of acting attending at the internationally acclaimed '16th Street Actors Studio' in Melbourne. Motivated by the teachings of Elizabeth Kemp, Ian Rickson, and Larry Moss (just to name a few), Roy has appeared in an array of films, including the award winning 'The Dressmaker', as well as numerous TV appearances "Neighbours" 'Newtons Law', 'Seven Types of Ambiguity', and 'Utopia'. Roy's many theatre credits include in 2017 a tour of China performing Shakespeare' plays with the Australian Touring Opera Company, then joined the cast of the very successful and coveted PopUp Globe's Melbourne's 2017/18 season. Roy also performed at the Adelaide Fringe 2018 in "Cocoon' an original work by New York playwright /director Kotryna Gesait.
