John-Paul Jory was born in Canberra, Australia, to Colin and Paula Jory. John-Paul is one of eight children (two brothers, five sisters). After enjoying making films in Canberra for local projects and television commercials since college (2003), John-Paul left his career in Waste Management (Garbage man) and also I.T (Technician) and moved to Sydney in 2011 to pursue his career in acting further.
