Joseph originally demonstrated his musical talents as a street musician in New Orleans's famous French Quarter, playing his guitar, banjo, and blues-harp for passing tourists. Leaving the New Orleans area in the early 1980's, and eventually relocating to New England, Joseph put his musical interests on hold to pursue a corporate career.
