Christian Michael Cooper was a very social, attention-drawing child from the moment he was born. Upon the wise counsel of others, his mom pursued the avenue of commercials for her spirited infant, and he booked his first at the age of 13 months. When he was just 5, Christian landed his first recurring role on the TV series, 'Cult'. The cast and crew are said to have greatly enjoyed working with such a 'veteran'. While continuing to amass a constant stream of credits on various hit shows (including 'Bates Motel' and 'Wayward Pines'), Christian was cast in the critically acclaimed short film 'Sidekick', in which he starred alongside Emily Bett Rickards ('Arrow'), Josh Dallas ('Once Upon A Time') and Tom Cavanagh ('The Flash'). While the film involved long hours of filming and incredible special effects, Christian connected deeply with the drama embedded in the emotional storyline. In 2016, Christian booked a recurring role on the beloved Hallmark Channel show 'When Calls the Heart'. In 2017's season 4, Christian's role was developed into a greater on-screen presence with more substantial storylines which have carried into Season 5 and 2018. Next, Christian landed his biggest role yet. Christian played Mike Scofield, son of Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) and Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) in the 2017 Prison Break event series on FOX. Christian has been working non-stop since his stellar performance as the son of Sara and Michael Scofield. He has been cast in a recurring role in ABC's new series, 'The Crossing' premiering in 2018. He will also make an appearance as the younger version of Josh Sanderson, played by Israel Broussard, in the film 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' from Awesomeness Films and Will Smith's production company, Overbrook Entertainment. When Christian is not working, he is often occupied with his athletic pursuits: soccer, hip-hop, paddle boarding, swimming, and kayaking amongst other outdoor activities. Spending time with family, including the family dog, is extremely important to Christian. At the ripe age of 11, Christian has more film and TV credits than many of his adult counterparts, but the strong support of his family is his anchor in this vigorous world of excitement and inherent uncertainty. Wise beyond his years, Christian takes it all in stride and when you meet him there is no doubt that we will all be seeing a lot more of this bright star over the years to come. - IMDb Mini Biography By: HollyWords Publicity Group [ca]
