Virginia Rachel Pillion began her acting career upon being cast as Molly in a production of Annie at Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia in 2010. She was in first grade at the time, and enjoyed the experience so much that she began to audition for every local opportunity she could find. Other professional acting experiences followed: Zuzu in It's a Wonderful Life (2010), Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol (2011), Ensemble in Tarzan (2012), and Young Cosette in Les Miserables (2013) were all additional Barter Theatre experiences. She also played Gracie Shin in Clarence Brown's production of The Music Man in 2011. Other roles include local commercials and two locally filmed movies that will be released in 2014/15. Virginia discovered that she loved to act and that she also possessed quite a singing voice. She is an avid reader, swims competitively, runs on her school's cross country team, and has won local talent competitions.
