Trish Rainone is an actress, writer, producer & comedian. She was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. She grew up as the middle child in a family of girls, raised by their mother. With dreams of working in television from a young age, she attended Carleton University's Film program at 18 years old. Following a bout of homesickness, she moved back to Sault Ste. Marie. She then completed a degree in Psychology and earned a diploma in Autism & Behavioural Sciences. After University, Trish Rainone began running a family-owned cafe, under her business-man father's leadership. The business entailed more hours and less money than she had anticipated, and she decided if she were to work that many hours, it would be towards her dream of being an actress & filmmaker. Trish landed her first audition for the campy, low-budget horror flick, 'Black Forest' in 2012, leaving town and leaving the cafe under the surveillance of a childhood friend. Shortly after wrapping, she auditioned for the Trailer Park Boys' film 'Swearnet: The Movie.' She didn't get the role she went out for, but was offered a spot as a Sunshine Girl. She then set herself up with an agency in Toronto and signed up for various acting workshops from Shakespeare with Jack Wetherall of Stella Adler to Auditioning for Camera with Mike Shore. She has since co-created and starred (as Heather) in the critically acclaimed Webseries, 'My Roommate's an Escort,' which has garnered over one million views across platforms, lead her to being featured on 'e-Talk: CTV', 'CP: 24', a raving review in the 'Globe & Mail' (John Doyle: April 2017), and festivals world-wide. 'My Roommate's an Escort' took home Best Comedy at the Miami Web Festival in 2018, Best New Media at the Kapow Film Festival in Los Angeles, and the Director's Choice Best Series Award & the Audience Choice Award at the Austin Revolution Film Festival.
