Robert Shannon

Robert Shannon was born in the UK in 1975 although having a Irish/Italian heritage, he is a Londoner, born and bred. After leaving The London Film School, Rob has had over 20 years experience working professionally in the industry, he has worked on Television dramas, Independent films, studio films and main stream commercials, both in front and behind the camera. So far In his career Rob has been lucky enough to work along side some of the industries best performers including Cate Blanchette, Michael Gambon, Billy Crudip, Ray Winstone, Stephen Graham,Jude Law, Charles Dance and Benedict Cumberbatch as well as award winning Directors such as David Blair and Gillian Armstrong. Rob is most familiarly known for playing slave to hero Galdiator, 'Verus', in the BBC's biggest budget Doc/Drama to date, 'The Colosseum'.
