Born on December 11, 1999 in Calgary, Alberta, actress Jessica Nelson is the older of two daughters belonging to registered nurse, Joanna Nelson, and oilfield business owner father, Michael Nelson. If you had told younger ten-year-old Jessica that she was going to end up acting and modeling, you would be expecting her to shake her head and laugh. In her elementary years, Jessica participated in many school productions and choir performances, including performing at the Calgary Zoo Lights two years in a row and the Sing Festival. She attended a fine-arts school in junior high, in which she pursued her passion for acting, alongside dancing, singing, and sketching. In 2014, Jessica worked on her first credited short project, followed by the opportunity to portray Olivia in a feature film. Since then, Jessica has had the pleasure of modeling for a various brands and photography companies, as well as have had the chance to meet many well-known actors/directors in the Alberta film industry. She is best known for playing Mary in Super Drycleaners (2017).
