The passion for acting started in 1981 when on a dare he enrolled in acting class at the University of Toledo, where he was there on a football scholarship. after leaving Toledo in 82 he set out to youngstown state university for a B.A. in communications and public relations. Getting his degree in 1986, he came out if the gate working in radio as an announcer for a small am station in Salem, Ohio.
