Assibey (Ah See Bey) was born in Harlem, New York. A son of an Ghanaian Royale & African-American mother. His parents met while both attending Columbia University. Assibeys' mother passed away at an very early age he then was moved & raised in Plainfield, New Jersey. An attendee of New Jersey school system until college. He attended "The Conservatory for Dramatic Arts " in New York City & earned a bachelor's degree in Film & Television. Since 2010 Assibeys' work has been visible on mainstream platforms & have garnered him acting credits with productions, Assibeys' passion to share & tell his story as well many others as actor, producer, & director was shared also in 2010 with Cutrush Creative Labs & founder, Van Nuguyen. Cutrush is an Independent film company, that has produced a multitude of shorts, commercials, music videos, & respectively been entered and mentioned in prestigious film festivals. Assibey has also been at the helm and Co-creator of "Brooklyn Theater;" a program developed to reach & develop young actors minds, and allow them express themselves and blossom.
