Marcus McDermott

Marcus McDermott was born on May 11, 1991 in Boston, Massachusetts. He is the son of Cheryl McDermott, a fitness instructor, and Anthony Keith McDermott, an athletics director. Growing up he acted in plays and studied the performing arts. He also participated in different sports such as basketball, football, baseball, and soccer. His senior year of high school his basketball team won the Massachusetts state championship, and he went on to play varsity basketball in college. In college he earned a bachelor's degree in business management, and was recruited to model for a local talent agency. After graduating college, McDermott worked jobs in retail, tech support, customer service, and health care. Marcus has modeled for Puma, Fidelity Investments, FedEx, and Abercrombie & Fitch, and has been featured in television commercials for Samuel Adams, and Wayback Burgers. On the big screen he has starred in Good Kids (2016), Katie Fforde: Die Frau an seiner Seite (2016), and Well Water (2017).
