Tara Mason was born August 16, 1986 in Scarborough, Ontario. She began her training in drama at a young age and studied visual and performing arts in high school. She began acting and modeling at the age of 15 and got her start in a commercial for the clothing store West 49 portraying a snowboarder. When she graduated from high school, she joined the Second City Theatre.
