Donna Anita Nikolaisen is an Irish-Caribbean actress whose TV career began with roles in Irish TV Dramas 'Bitter Sweet' and 'Single-Handed 2'. She plays the role of Ama Chisenga on Ireland's most watched TV Soap 'Fair City' (2014 - 2017) Donna's recent stage work was with True Voice Theatre's production of the Chekhov comedies 'The Bear' and 'The Proposal'. Stage credits include lead roles in Dermot Bolger's 'Tea Chests and Dreams' at The Axis Theatre and Maria Ann Hylton's 'No Irish No Blacks No Dogs' at The New Theatre. The diversity of Donna's stage roles also include Bertha Mason at The Gate Theatre's acclaimed production of 'Jane Eyre'.
