Siegfrid Calizo was born in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. At the moment, he is based in Glasgow, Scotland. He is fluent in English, Tagalog, and Visayan. He is from a Spanish & Chinese descent. Siegfrid is the only son of a respected General of the Army, General Romeo V Calizo and Politician, Hon. Mary Cor Reyes Calizo. He is the middle child between two sisters, Sharille & Sophia Calizo. His love for acting began at the age of 16 when he played the lead theatre role for their Digmaan production in 2003 held at the AFP Theater, this turned into a true passion at the age of 17 when he became the President of their Filipino Arts Club Lakas Wika in Global City where he also won two "Best Actor" Trophies on acting competitions while taking up his medical course in college. He became a licensed nurse in 2007 and moved to Dubai with his older sister in 2009 where he received a scholarship to study in Liverpool, England by 2011. In 2012, he moved to London where he was spotted by an acting agent and began acting in TV commercials for leading brands such as Adidas, Google, Hilton, Durex, FedEx, Cornetto, Telefonica & Pfizer.
