Jeff Warrington is the award-winning director of "The Flocculus", "Lobotomy, Lobotomy", and other films. He studied cinema at Southern Illinois University, and, at 'Digital Domain', an Academy Award winning visual effects studio, he coordinated the production of ground-breaking imagery for the SciFi Channel. His independently produced documentary, "Lobotomy, Lobotomy", was an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival, 2002. The film, a haunting memorial to a late nineteenth century insane asylum, is an alien assemblage of collected histories, inventories, and brain surgeries that features, among other oddities, a cacophony of synthetic narrators. Warrington's previous effort, "The Flocculus" (1999), won a Jury Prize for Animation at the Chicago Underground Film Festival 2000. The film, written by David Ohle screenwriter of "The Mortified Man", London Film Festival, 1997), is a gruesome parable about a colony of horse-eating, grasshopper-stewing survivalists that are plagued by vile mutations. In addition to a lengthy run on the circuit as an official selection of the New York Underground Film Festival, the New York Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, and other film festivals nationwide, "The Flocculus" received considerable notoriety through press in Filmmaker Magazine and other periodicals, and was released on DVD. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Jeff Warrington <[email protected]>
