Mark Newara was born in North East / Erie PA. Attended Thiel College for Communication Studies where he met documentary filmmaker Dr. Thomas J. Weber while taking "Film in American Culture" in the Spring of 2001. His first film credit is with the documentary film "Troubadour Blues" which focused on the trials and tribulations of the modern day singer/songwriter.
