Heidi Kaplan was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. She moved to Arizona for college, where she earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology and Mental Health Counseling, respectively. Heidi was active in her university's choral program and a cappella singing group, however it was after becoming involved in an improvisational comedy troupe that her interest in acting work developed. With a primary career in children's therapy, Heidi has also enjoyed work as a spokesperson, in commercials, voice-over spots, independent film, sketch comedy, and live theatre.
