Born and raised in Illinois... Apolla had dreams to make a difference and play an important role on Earth. Prior to her aspirations in entertainment, she was infatuated with reading and education, and devoted all her time to understanding the world around her. Growing up with a younger brother who had a life threatening disease, she understood the importance of giving back to her community and helping others. She spent much of her time as a child and young adult with her local youth group doing charity fundraisers, helping out at soup kitchens, and playing guitar for the elderly at nursing homes. She had completed Barbizon School of Modeling and Acting and began guitar lessons at age 12, and signed with REM Studios in Chicago as a young model. She even met with agents in New York City all by the time she was out of grade school! As she reached high school, she was already well known in her hometown for her Guitar performances at Talent Shows, and starring lead roles in many School Plays such as "And Beauty & The Beast" , "Back to 80s Musical", "Miracle on 34th St, and More. She was also the youngest girl in the State of Illinois to be Selected for the "Miss Teen Illinois USA Pageant!" Not only was she in the spotlight, she was also behind the scenes, Directing , and Editing her high school news program, Rocket One. And Even featured as an actress in many of the music videos she directed for the program. During her senior year she was introduced to DJing by her close friends in the Chicago EDM / House Music/Festival Scene and was trained to Spin by some of the most well known DJ's. Progressing as a freelance model, she traveled the country far and wide over the next two years gaining a large social media following in the process. She was fascinated with everything she experienced and all the people she met. In 2013 she was named the 97.9 Chicago Loop Girl for the Chicago, Illinois radio station. Also she was published in Guitar World Magazine, WhiteFolksGetCrunk, Modelzview Magazine, Surreal Beauty Magazine and Southern Vixens Magazine along with other achievements. Feeling she was meant for bigger opportunities, she partnered with a model friend (whose Mother was an Agent in LA) ...and embarked on a trip to New York where she lived for a month to work with some well known Photographers and Agencies on the East Coast. Knowing she was serious about pursuing her career as a professional Model/Actress, Apolla set her sights to Hollywood. Upon her arrival in late 2013, she was quickly introduced to many influential people in the entertainment industry. She instantly knew she was where she was supposed to be, and started attending acting classes at the Peter Wise Workshops, building her portfolio, going on auditions, submitting to agencies, and has been working hard towards achieving her dreams ever since. Some of her most recent accomplishments include walking the runway for Fashion Week Las Vegas 2014, was a main character in the short film "A Hott Winter" Produced by Tim Robbins , Modeling for Major Designer "Rocky Gathercole", guest appearing on several music videos and TV Shows, featuring as a lead role on "Kygo's" music video for the song "Firestone", Playing a Russian spy double agent in a James Bond Video Game, and recently was a lead role on a Subaru Commercial! In 2016 Apolla became the guitarist for the music group "The Siren" which has won several awards including Best of LA Music Award, Bronze Global Music Award, and Hollywood Music and Media Awards Nomination. Having accomplished so much by the age of 24, Apolla fully plans to take her career to the next level, and progress via acting, modeling, and music.
