Michael Gosden

Michael is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts. Moving to Melbourne from his hometown of the Central Coast, NSW. At home he was involved in local theatre groups, whilst also attending an intensive short course with NIDA and a one-year course at the Screenwise film and television school in Sydney. Michael's VCA credits include Lopahkin in The Cherry Orchard, Orpheus/ Bacchus in Metamorphoses, Karl in Too Young For Ghosts, Caliban in The Tempest and Matthew Palmer in Its an Earthquake in my Heart. Michael's film and television credits include Rake (ABC), Hunters and Runners (VCA graduating film), This Little Piggy (FlemHouse Productions), Gallipoli (Nine Network), A Clean Break (Open Channel/Raw Nerve), the web series 'ManChild' (Flemhouse productions) and recently just completed his first short film "Crossings", which he wrote, directed and acted in. Michael also co-devised and performed in Fear&Love&Clowns, which premiered at the 2013 Adelaide Fringe Festival, performed a sell-out season at the malthouse theatre in May of 2013 and recently returned from a Regional Arts Victoria funded tour around rural north-west Victoria.
