This late-blooming talent follows in the the footsteps of other Italian-American actors like Chazz Palminteri and James Gandolfini, transitioning from the nightclub industry onto the big screen. JJ grew up in the vibrant Buffalo bar and restaurant business. After attending college, JJ's first venture was 3C Multimedia where he produced the television pilot "Discs" with screen writer Norman Toy (McGuyver), along with early music videos for Dipset, Purple City Bird Gang and Conway & Westside Gun. 2018 has been a breakout year for JJ with a featured role in "The True Adventures of Wolfboy", a story of a young boy who runs away from home in search of his estranged mother, starring Chloë Sevigny, Jaeden Lieberher, Eve Hewson, John Turturro; directed by Martin Krejcí and produced by Kimberly Steward & K Period Media; as well as a supporting role in "Clover", a film starring Ron Perlman, Chazz Palminteri, Erika Christensen and directed by Jon Abrahams about two bumbling brothers who resort to extremes to pay off a debt to a local mob boss only to find themselves in way over their heads. JJ plays "Gus" in a climactic one-on-one scene with Chazz. The roles kept coming in 2019 with a supporting role in Givers of Death, an apocalyptic sci-fi tale of redemption starring Addison Henderson. with Louis Lombardi & Jonathan Sterritt.
