Darlene Chikezie was born in Sunrise, Florida. She is the daughter of Nigerian parents, Ruby Nnadi and Darlington Chikezie. As a young girl, Darlene showed signs of being intelligent beyond her years and started school at the age of 4 where she was placed into academic programs for gifted children. Not only did she show promise with her scholastic efforts, but she loved to dance. She was enrolled in dance class at the age of 5 and has never been away from a stage for long, since. She participated in different sports and performing arts programs throughout her secondary education at a boarding school in Rome, Georgia, from which she graduated in 2012. She is a student at Georgia State University, where she will be receiving her bachelors in Biology of Science in May 2018. She launched her custom clothing designs, Cleopatterns, in January 2018.
