Austin Alexander

Austin Alexander is known for playing Dennis Ray Bryant in PBS's Mercy Street (2016), Zane in Lifetime's The Preacher's Daughter (2013), and roles on AMC's TURN (2014), National Geographic's The Long Road Home (2017), and the upcoming Showtime series The Good Lord Bird (2020). He is an actor, writer, and musician. He graduated with two Bachelor's degrees in Theatre and English Writing & Rhetoric from St. Edward's University in Austin, TX. After graduation, he completed a two-year Meisner-based acting conservatory program under the instruction of Richard Robichaux. Since that time, he has steadily booked increasingly larger roles for TV and Film, while also developing projects of his own. As a writer and director, Austin has produced and directed several plays and short films. Additionally, he co-produces, writes, directs and acts in an online sketch channel called HEY! Sketch Party Collective.
