Tony Dew was born on April 27, 1992 in Rahway, New Jersey. His mother, Trang Smith is a food service worker and a nail technician as for his father, Tran Smith, a forklift operator and delivery man for Plainfield Fruit Produce. His mother is half Vietnamese and half African American while his father, half Vietnamese and half Irish. Tony the oldest of four, lived in Elizabeth for 14 years. Growing up he spent the weekends and summers living with his grandmother Chao in Jersey City, New Jersey. There he spent his time working at his grandmother's movie store called "Chao Videos" which was down the street from the competition, Blockbusters. It was through that job that he fell in love with the art of acting. Many moons later he moved to the beautiful Los Angeles where he's taking classes with Shelley Mitchell and is continuing his acting career to this day.
