Detroit-born Alexius "Lex" Zellner is an American actor Predominantly raised by his step mother, Zellner, from an early age showed a natural talent for acting, but under his father's influence, a kick boxing and karate champion, Alexius shelved acting and began training in Kickboxing winning several tournaments. Passionate about the justice system and driven by the death of his father, Alexius at the tender age of 19 joined the Detroit Police Department and worked in several Specialized Units. After serving 7 years Alexius was recruited by a Private Military Company where he trained Iraqi Special Ops teams, and conducted 'Special Operations' throughout Iraq and the Middle East. In 2009, while serving in Iraq, Alexius was injured and unable to renew his contract with the United States Government. He moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue his acting career where he began studying with renowned acting teacher Aaron Speiser. Within a few months of studying Alexius booked two National commercials, one for candy giant Sour Patch and another for ESPN, as well as an independent feature film 'The River'. Zellner continues to nurture his chosen craft, often using his Law Enforcement and combat training in the process, which was demonstrated in his recent role for the highly publicized thriller 'The Social Contract', where he was able to use both his acting and martial arts training in a fast paced sophisticated fight scene.
