Film music composer Michael Patterson is one of today's most unique and versatile composers. From his poignant and masterful orchestral score to the award winning CBS Special 9/11, the extraordinary hybrid Jazz - Electronica score to the award winning film Freeze Out, the extremely diverse and rich sci-fi score parody to the comedy The Helix: Loaded, whimsical themes for the outrageous comedy Stone & Ed and the brooding score for the multi-festival winning suspense drama Something For Nothing. Patterson's broad musical palette stems from both European and contemporary American traditions. His talents began as a rock guitar player. Followed by studies in electronic music, Jazz and 20th century composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston. After graduating and beginning his career composing for Television in New York, Michael found himself in high demand contributing his talents to numerous programs for PBS, HBO and all major networks as well as countless cable shows. In 2003 Patterson moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film scoring.
