J.J. Gordon

J.J. Gordon, a British-Swiss citizen, originally studied opera in America. He later switched to classical composition and took a B.Mus.Hons degree from the University of London, a Ph.D. from the University of Wales and became the youngest recipient of the Higher Doctorate degree of D.Mus. from the University of London. His symphonic and chamber music is published by Alfred Legnick & Co., London, and he has received numerous awards, as well as commissions, performances and broadcasts - particularly by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. His ballet, 'Calaveras', is available on the Vienna Modern Masters CD Label No. VMM 3018. Also an accomplished journalist and critic, Gordon turned to professional acting in Berlin in the early 1990s and has appeared in numerous cinema and television films as well having extensive professional theatrical experience where he has played a considerable range of roles at some of Berlin's top theatres.
