Jadiel's journey as a teen actor has sparked a passion to create content that entertains, educates, and empowers viewers. As the youngest Writers Guild of Canada member, Jadiel values the opportunity to develop stories that include dynamic, diverse, and memorable characters that undergo transformative arcs. His compelling narratives balance pertinent social issues with suspenseful cinematic themes. His interest is to tell stories for children and youth through live action and animation projects that go beyond just entertainment. His stories are based on the children's rights advocate Marian Wright Edelman's quote: "You can't be what you can't see." His productions allow the audience to "see themselves," in various ways and exhibit collaboration to achieve great feats. Moreover, his background as an Afro Caribbean Latino ensures the next generation of television trailblazers and entrepreneurs will have a global perspective. A vision that existed in his mind as a child, but one his parents supported through imagination, and action! Jadiel has written several episodes for Dino Dana, participated in Endlings Writing Room (Season 2) (both produced by Sinking Ship Entertainment), and wrote the scripts for 5 "Magic Shots" short scripts for Kalkaden Productions: Pendulum, Gameplan, Shattered, Living A Lie, and Lovesick (produced by KalKaden Productions). He has been recognized for several awards. In 2016, Jadiel was nominated for a Daytime Emmy as an actor for his role in Amazon Prime's critically-acclaimed original children's series Annedroids; in 2017, awarded Ryerson University's President's Entrance Scholarship; in 2018, named "One of Canada's Rising Stars: Making an Impact in Hollywood" by The Hollywood Reporter during the Toronto International Film Festival; and in 2019, the recipient of the Rising Star Award, Bentonville Film Festival, co-founded by Academy Award Actress Geena Davis and Inclusion Companies CEO Trevor Drinkwater. He also received the 2020 Youth Media Alliance Andra Sheffer Scholarship (Canada). Over the years, Jadiel has been nominated for several acting awards in the U.S.A. and Canada, and won a few. He also excels academically. His prestigious President's Scholarship from Ryerson University is a "full-ride," and it is awarded to only a few Canadian students that "demonstrate academic accomplishment, leadership qualities, and original thought and creative ability." He's in his 4th year pursuing a double major: Philosophy and Film Studies. Jadiel has starred on Annedroids (Amazon Prime, TVO Kids), and Star Falls, (Nickelodeon, Teen Nick, YTV). He was also a guest star on Northern Rescue (Netflix, CBC), and several other productions: a judge on the reality competition series Zoink'd, Rogue, Dino Dana, and he lent his voice to the The Swap, Super Why!, and The Stanley Dynamic. He is the voice actor on the new animation television series, Hero Elementary (PBS, 2020). From Canada, Jadiel is proud of his unique cultural background. His parents emigrated from Panama, instilling the importance of fluently speaking Spanish and embracing his Afro Caribbean heritage. This helps to explain his appreciation of multi-cultural music and flavourful foods. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Publicist
