Caylin Turner is an award winning actress who's film work reflects her love of independent projects that feature strong and interesting female characters. She began her acting career in musical theater moving on to film and television in 2018 where she quickly captured lead roles in projects that have reinforced her love for acting. Caylin has completed her first lead role in the indie feature film "This Was America". Her character is Violet, a young girl who begins a journey to flee persecution in the US. Set in a dystopian future, Violet begins a reluctant escape from the only life she has know with a questionable guardian - this film is set to be released in the fall of 2020. As Traci, in the movie of the week "Baby in a Manger", Caylin played a runaway teen mother trying to cope with being deserted by her baby's father right before Christmas. This Harlequin film was released in late 2019, airing internationally on Prime Video and in the US on UPTV. She also starred in the short "The Things That Shape Us" as Romina, a 16-year-old tomboy, paid to clean the house for Mrs. Lewis, a strange and recluse woman with a troubled past. This independent short film will be released in the Summer of 2020. Nationally, Caylin's lead role in the series "Trapped" was recognized with a best actress Joey Award in Vancouver in November 2019 and her improvisation team continues their winning streak competing in the Canadian Improv Games Regional and National Festivals. - IMDb Mini Biography By: LT
