As a little girl she wasn't dreaming of acting or modeling, all she wanted was to work with animals .. Actually her first 'dream job', she was 12 at the time, was to travel around the world with her dog, to discover as many civilizations as she could with her best friend... At the age of 19 she moved to the United states, where she lived for a few years before moving back to France at the age of 22. She wasn't happy back in France but had to make a living and since she was fully bilingual, she was hired by a international company as their receptionist... It is funny how a small advert on a casting website can change the course of your life... That's what happened to Drakaina in 2001, when she was both a receptionist and an occasional fashion model/actress. She called it occasional as not like many little girls growing up had she ever been interested in pursuing a modeling career... But her lucky star was there and being at the right place at the right time offered her nice opportunities such as modeling for an international hair care products campaign 'Capirelax' and playing (small spoken part) in a French movie 'Sa mere la Pute' - Dir. by Brigitte Rouan, not to mention cool jobs such as TV extras and stuff... Anyhow one day as she was surfing the net she saw this advert from a horror oriented artist looking for his spokes-model. The advert specifically said that the girl had to be a brunette, at least 5' 10" and very familiar with gore movies. But, for a reason she still can't explain she decided to send the guy a message saying only "I am a redhead, is that gonna be a problem?" without really expecting a reply... But the same day she received one with a phone number and the explanation of why this artist needed a spokes-model. So she sent him another email with her phone number, weeks went by and they kept on with their daily phone chatting routine giving birth to Drakaina. 3 month later, she packed her stuff and moved to Avignon. That is basically how Drakaina was born, and with her a new modeling trend in France: Fantasy art Modeling. Today France's can count on its very own Fantasy art Model in the person of Drakaina, known as the first Fantasy art Model from France, whom, in the beginning of 2001 enrolled in the path to success, becoming a reference on the matter for these universally known artists. Gaming cards, collectible items, RPG collectible cards, posters, Magazine's covers, calendars & soon to come a comics at her image are some of the products Drakaina® is today requested for...
