Sofia Pellegrino

Sofia Pellegrino was born in Lima, Peru and moved to the United States at the age of ten. At the age of eighteen Sofia began working as a Real Estate agent in an effort to finance her college education. She quickly mastered the Real Estate business and became a Top Producer Realtor in the Northern Virginia area. Upon obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, she enrolled at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts to pursue her childhood dream and passion of acting. Sofia graduated from the two year acting program and has since excelled in acting. Among her many accomplishments, Sofia has landed roles on numerous prestigious National TV networks including PBS kids, Investigation Discovery, TLC and Netflix and TVone. Sofia made her debut as a writer and director in 2018 with the film "The Last Cry". "The Last Cry" has received nationwide recognition and has won several awards in film festivals through out the United States. As a filmmaker, Sofia aims to tell stories that are empowering and motivating to the masses with the hopes of having an impact in society. She has won BEST DIRECTOR at The New Jersey's Brightside Film Festival and at Los Angeles's Independent Short Awards.
