While approaching law school, she was approached by a talent scout while amongst friends at a bar to appear in a David Schwimmer film that was being shot in town. Her best friend was cast as a featured extra and worked 8 weeks on the film. After being on the sets of various productions in Chicago, she decided to follow her calling and turn careers toward the entertainment industry. She started casting in Chicago, Illinois as an intern at Claire Simon Casting while working as a law clerk for the busiest judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County Law Division. She got offered a job casting a project that would involve Steven Spielberg and set off to California. After completing that production she landed a job casting a sketch comedy pilot for the WB as an assistant. Her strong midwestern work ethic shined though by her dedication which included nightly late night scouting adventures at every local comedy club in Los Angeles that she could get to. She began to focus strictly on stand up comedians, sketch players, and improv actors. Every night a different venue- she was there taking notes. She built relationships with top agents and managers which she still values and maintains today. Jennifre' was asked personally by the executive producers to join them and work as the show's casting director when the sketch show was announced for series pick up by the WB. Thus, after being in Hollywood less then one year, she found herself to have both an office and parking spot on the Warner Bros. lot- and has Joe Davola to thank for most of that..
