Richard Duryea

Richard Duryea first became interested in films after his dad showed him Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. He was instantly hooked on the classic science fiction genre and wanted to create his own. When he saved up enough money to buy his first camera, he began to create his own movies, with his siblings and friends, in Spokane Washington. Early on, Richard knew that he wanted to work in the camera department. Upon arriving at CSUN, Richard immediately began making connections and creating short films. With a double major in Cinematography and Creative writing, Richard Graduated in 2012. Today, he works freelance as a camera op.
