Her acting career began in Halifax when she was a series regular host on the CBC National award-winning teen show,Street Cents (1989), which she was on for 6 years. Since moving to Vancouver she has had Principal and Guest Starring roles in over 30 television episodes including Psych (2006), and Smallville (2001) and a recurring role on the series V and Stargate SG-1 (1997) .
